Shri Sankalp Pratishthan NGO spearheaded by Sachin Ahir, the State Minister for Housing and Sangeeta Ahir his producer wife are forming one of the largest Dahi Handi festivals in Mumbai this year also that will witness leading celebrities of Bollywood world at Jamboree Maidan to rejoice birth of Lord Krishna today.

Hrithik Roshan along with Emraan Hashmi will be the prime attraction of this event. The star embossed evening will also have Esha Deol dancing live for the 1^st tie after her marriage. While talking about the evening, producer Sangeeta Ahir said ‘more than four hundred govinda mandals will be joining in our Dahi Handi. We have taken all safety measures to confirm the protection of each contestant. I am very much confident that this year’s celebration will be a huge.

When Hrithik Roshan was asked about his opinion, he said, ‘ in my recent movie ‘Agneepath’ I have done a Dahi Handi scene but the fun of involving in the actual live Dahi Handi of such an enormous scale is unbelievable. Because of this festival the whole community comes together. I am very excited to see how these active Govindas will perform on Janmashtami festival.
