The software application will tell about the various road-transporting updates. The traffic police of Mumbai have push for this application. The application will also suggest the available traveling routes or diversions. With the growing technology, it is a smart step taken by Mumbai traffic police.

According to the traffic police, the application will be the first of its kind. Joint Commissioner of Mumbai Police, traffic, Mr. Vivek Phansalkar says that they are citing to inform the citizens in advance if any route is jam pack, so this will help them to take other routes accordingly.

Reports from the sources suggests that the traffic police are putting efforts to regular update their website from an hour to hour. A traffic police officer reported that they are making a webpage for on their website, so that they can warn road travelers about any heavy traffic jams. Color codes will be used to distinguish congestion levels. A map with congested level will be uploaded on website.

The traffic police have not only planned for just application or a webpage, but also to update the travelers via mobile devices. The officer says that they want to tie up with software designer experts, which will solve the traffic related problems. Just for an instance, if anybody traveling to somewhere and wants a road update for traffic jams, he/she can text to the provided number and will instantly get the traffic update and suggested alternative routes.

Although, Just for the application, both iOS and Android users can use an application called Waze, which allows them to exchange traffic updates and tell their friends or community about the road and traffic related information. The application also provides update for nearby gas stations and with their prices. Perfect application for now.
