On this Wednesday we got to see rain at Andaman and Nicobar Island. According to the meteorological officials, the rain would reach Kerala till June 1^st and then will reach Mumbai till June 10^th. As per the weather officials, usually the monsoon reaches Andaman and Nicobar till May 20, but this time it has reached on May 24^th i.e. 3 days late. After the rain reaches Andaman and Nicobar, then it moves toward cost of Kerala. The officials stated that the three-day delay of monsoon would not put a major impact on the monsoon.

Medha Khole, deputy director general meteorology (weather forecast), IMD Pune said that the three day delay of monsoon at Andaman and Nicobar will not put a big difference of Monsoon at Kerala coast and it is expected that the Monsoon will reach Kerala on or before June 1. The weather officials also said that the monsoon would hit the Mumbai city on June 10^th.

Khole also stated that it is expected the arrival of monsoon in Mumbai till June 10, or might be soon or according to the normal date. But it will really be premature to talk about the soon or delay arrival of Monsoon and they will get a clear idea about the monsoon to hit Mumbai when the Monsoon first hit Kerala cost.

We expect that this time we get the monsoon because from last three consecutive years monsoon is affecting the agriculture sector.
