For that purpose, they build the Tower of Silence to offer the last rites of the dead individual. Even if the place is exposed to dead body, yet the place is very calm and peaceful, due to the beautiful architecture of this place and its green surroundings. However, the main area is off limits where the dead is exposed for all. The tower got surrounded by controversies, because of the vanishing of vultures as well as the subsequent crisis that the Parsis faced for leaving the dead in the tower for a longer period of time. Despite all these, it is also considered as a place to take a sneak peak during a trip by many tourists.
