Mumbai Shivered once again due to Cold
Wednesday turned out to be the coldest day in Mumbai; it was the day when almost all the fans in Mumbai were switched off. The minimum temperature recorded was 8C which made the day as second coldest day in Mumbai. The lowest temperature recorded in Mumbai was 7.4 Celsius on January 22, 1962.

The temperature reached around 14.2C on Wednesday, and then there was a sudden fall of around 6 degrees was seen. The drop in temperature was due to the cold waves from the northern India said the weather department.
As there was a heavy snowfall in the Himalayan region, and rains in some part of Uttar Pradesh, caused the chill waves to flow down.The cold was specially felt by the morning walkers and the people who leave for office early in Mumbai; they all were seen covered with warm clothes.
The weather department said that, Mumbaikars may see more chilled nights as the snowfall in the northern India continues.
