Ganesh Chaturthi festival is not only common person’s festival but it is too celebrated by Bollywood celebrities. When Amitabh Bachchan was asked that how did you spend your Ganehs Chaturthi holiday, on that, this sixty eight years old senior Bollywood actor said, he enjoyed this holiday by watching Godfather’s classic series. He said this film still seems attractive and fresh. On this scarce holiday, I became that lazy calm bird, bent up on couch and one by one Godfather series watched-perhaps the type, which was directors cut and then bigger version and containing scenes which were not enjoyed before, thought posted by Big B.

The underworld sage’s first instalment, Francis Ford Coppola directed it, in 1972 with strong Al Pacino and Marlon Brando’s performances. Parts three and two were presented in 1977 and 1997 respectively.

He added that there are so many things that just mesmerize about Godfather, even after completion of numbers of years, still it has its own unique magic, and it remains attractive and fresh every time you watch it. The choice of players in every share of Godfather, the performances and the locations are just flawless and also presently, after so decades, there is remain so many elements from which you can learn many things. Person imagines that passage of craft, time, and technique would old and become irrelevant or stale. However no, not even a one performance or frame in film looks like this can substitute with something better and that is a truth of classic. The crazy part of this is after watching an impressionable series or film; you start to get so complex in them that you really begin reacting attitudinally as like character of film.

He too remembered how he enjoyed movie first time in London while Sholay movie’s shooting. He said, I still remember the day when first time I viewed this movie. After long time of its release I saw it in England. During those days, movie released in US but it had not come to India for some months. At that time in London Javed Akhtar, Salim Khan was with me for small break while Sholy movie’s shooting and we were anxious to watch this movie at first chance.

It was released before some days due to that it was not present in city’s any theatre. We explored the area, in close town we found the screening of film in tiny unknown movie theatre, and we took the train to catch the movie.
